GH – Julian and Olivia and a new mini mobster baby

I just finished watching all the soaps from Friday, January 2nd and I am going to try and pop out my blogs before the night is over.  I love the expression on the face of Alexis and Ned in this moment.
This certainly was a night is mismatched people or are they mismatched?  I really think that Alexis and Ned want to be with Julian and Olivia and are just not admitting it. 

I really think that Julian and Olivia are turned on by each other and I thought the card scene was very cute.  I guess Olivia will be pregnant by Julian since we know there is really a baby on the way for Lisa LoCiero.  So there will be yet another Jerome baby born that is related to Sonny.  Granted, this baby won’t be related directly to Sonny but this baby will be Sonny’s first born son’s little baby brother or sister. 

Talk about a mid life baby since Dante is got to be nearing 30 so that makes this a very risky pregnancy on the soap. 

Other great moments on New Year’ Eve was Patrick and Samantha finally deciding to advance their relationship and then having both kids needs them.  They are going to make us wait on the union.  Anna knocking on the door after Rick and Elizabeth got done having sex was cute. 

Lucy and Duke and Anna and the FED certainly make for interesting soap watching.  Nina and Silas have been off screen and so has Morgan, Kiki and baby Jamie. Previews showed Kiki, Morgan and Ava back next week but still no Silas. 

Why did Alexis decide to spend the night with Ned?  It is only going to prove that the lack of passion she feels for Ned and the lack of passion he feels for her.  I bet it is going to be one of those, well we tried but I am just not feeling it scenes with each other after the dirty deed is done.  Will Julian and Olivia feel the same way?  Julian will finally be around for the birth of one of his kids.  

Where was FLUKE and TRACY on New Year’s Eve?  They were strangely absent from the landscape.

Y&R – Interchangeable Faiths and I don’t mean religion

I just finished watching all the soaps from Friday, January 2nd and I am going to try and pop out my blogs before the night is over.  Does anybody else find it annoying how they are interchanging the actresses that play Faith?
I know that one actress had to be on set somewhere else but you would think the production team could have it figured out that one actress stays in for the holidays or leaves for the entire holidays and comes back after. 

Now instead we have the Faith who has been Faith for the past year on screen for Christmas Eve and then old new Faith for Christmas day and now we have new old Faith back for the day after New Years.  Perhaps a better plan might have been to suspend the storyline on the regular actress could get back and maybe they could have advanced the Michael cancer story-line a little bit more.

Okay so it got UGLY, very UGLY in the arbitration meeting and yes, lawyers can do screw up amicable settlements like Sharon’s did during this arbitration.  He was not privy to the conversation that Sharon had with Nick before the Arbitration began and he was going for plan he and Sharon had made the day before.   

Sharon should have pulled him aside and then had the lawyer’s talk, “joint,” custody and told the arbitrator that things had been worked out. 
Once tempers started flaring, that was all she wrote for a happy ending. 

Who do you think should have custody of Faith or should I say THE FAITHS?  J

Y&R – My thoughts on the New Year’s Day episode- Did they start 2015 off right?

Let me start off by saying Y&R was the only soap that was televised on New Year’s Day.  I am not sure why they did that but it was pretty cool.  I wonder what their numbers ended up being for the day. Gloria said to Michael:  Michael do you have cancer?  He changed the subject by saying, who said anything about cancer. 
I just watched the New Year’s Day episode of Y & R and I found it quite touching.  The scenes with Collin and the grandkids were cute with the New Year’s Revolution.   

For whatever reason, Michael, Lauren and Kevin are keeping Michael’s cancer under wraps.  I don’t know why they are doing this.  It takes away to much energy keeping the secret that could be used in battling this cancer. 

The sledding at the Newman’s episode was cute and even though they sledded off camera, the lines were good.  It did bother me how Victor spoke to Dylan, especially since he is the one trying to take away his livelihood but Victor has never been a nice guy. 

Cane finally came clean about wanting to be back in the corporate world.  I hope he teams up with Jill to take Chancellor away from Victor. 

How dumb is Nikki to not know something is up with Victor?  How dumb is Victor to not know something is up with Nikki? 

There were 2 very touching moments on this episode.  One was Victor reading Treasure Island to read, oh and by the way, the kid knows Ben spent the night with Mommy.

The other touching moment was the moment when Gloria asked Michael if he had cancer.  The look on her face of pure fear said it all and that is why I decided to feature that photo in this piece. 

Neal is seeing more often and clearer everyday.  He is going to snag Hillary & Devon.  

Do you think Michael has the right to keep this secret from his mother? All in all I think it was a good episode and a start in the right direction for Y&R for 2015.

GH: There is nothing logical about FLUKE

Donna's Daily Observation is that there is nothing logical about Fluke or the Fluke story-line.    

Many people are saying that FLUKE can’t be Anthony Z. because Anthony Z is not tall enough.  Since when has not meeting body size, looks, images or anything to do with reality been popular or common practice in soaps?    

They are going to do what they want and make FLUKE whomever they want him to be that fits their storyline when the time comes.  I am hoping they are gearing for February Sweeps as this is getting really old now. 

My GH Daily Observation is: There is nothing logical about FLUKE or the FLUKE story-line.  This storyline has been going on for over a year now and instead of ending it when Tony came back after back surgery, they added another FLUKE to equal 3 for a few days and then they unmasked Faison and let us see Luke locked up and waiting for someone to rescue him.  Where was FLUKE on New Year’s Eve?  Was he with Tracy? He was definitely off screen.      

I still say that FLUKE is Anthony Z., and time will tell.  I just hope we don’t have to wait too long to find out.

Y&R: The ring tattoo needs to come off

Donna's Daily Observation is that the ring tattoos have to come off. They have loads of money so they should be able to getting them removed. 

They were showing way too many feelings today for a couple that is done with each other. All that has to happen is for Victoria to find out that Stitch screwed up and Victoria will kick him to the curb.    

My Y&R Daily Observation is: That the ring tattoos needs to come off.  I don’t think either one is ready to get them removed because they still love each other.     

If Chelsea had the chance to be with Adam again, do you think she would kick Billy to the curb?  Will she feel what she felt for Adam when she meets Gabriel?

Victoria and Stitch bore me.  I do like Billy with Chelsea but I am looking forward to seeing what chemistry Chelsea has with the new Adam.  Do you want to see Chelsea with Billy or Chelsea with Adam?

Do you want to see Victoria with Stitch or Victoria back with Billy? 

Is Chelsea going to end up pregnant with Billy’s baby?
