Marie's Garden helps Austic Children Blossom

Marie's Garden is a brand new organization raising funds to start facilities that will help families with children that have been diagnosed having any of the conditions within the ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). 

Marie's Garden will also accept children who have OCD and ADHD into the after hour and weekend programs as well.  Marie's Garden has a Mission Statement that says, “To provide a safe haven and nurturing environment for children to visit that have been diagnosed with conditions within the Autism Spectrum Disorder, plus diagnosed with OCD and ADHD.   The Founder/Director/Fund Raiser Danielle Watt is striving to open a facility in one of the southern states in America and a prime location in Australia.  

The amount of funding garnered will dictate where each facility will be opened as different regions require different start up funding amounts.  The Founder and Major fund raiser Danielle Watt has a young daughter who was diagnosed last year with Autism and has created this project to offer parents a break after school or on weekends so they can get their chores done while providing an understanding, nurturing safe place for their children to visit.   A Go Fund Me page has been created for this purpose.  You can visit the "Marie's Garden' Project to learn more about the personal reasons Ms. Watt has elected to make this her life’s mission.  If you would like to interview Ms. Watt, please use the below contact information.

Dear Fellow Soap Lovers, This is my promise to you

I want to make a promise to you right here and right now. I will never publish something that I know is not true. 
I read so many articles and spoilers that just make me want to jump out of my skin.  The reason for this is that while some spoilers are genuine and have really gotten an inside scoop, not all spoilers are genuine and unfortunately for you the reader, it is hard to know the difference. Hell, it is hard for me to know the difference and I am in the business. 
Let me tell you a little about me.  I have been watching soaps since I was 6 years old and I am going to be 54 in March (ouch).  That is a very long time.  I have been writing most of my life.  I am a published author, a published poet and a singer/songwriter. I am married to one of my co-writers and in fact we met because we started co-writing songs together.  That was 1996.  We married in 1998. My professional songwriting website with my husband is www.NolanWilson.com   I wrote for Yahoo for 7 years.  I have been writing for Examiner for 4 years I have am now writing for AXS (do you get AXS TV) in your TV subscription package?

I also write for Daily Two Cents and I have my own soap blog called, “Let’s Get Soapy” You have seen most of my soap writing at these two places. I would eventually like to do all my soap writing here at Let’s Get Soapy because I have complete creative control.  

You will from time to time see soap reporting from me on Examiner when there is soap celebrity news like Melanie Thomas Scott being ill or the death of soap stars so I hope you don’t see many articles from me at Examiner because it will only be bad news there. 

I want you to know that the soaps mean so much to me. They pulled me out of some terribly dark places in my own life and mostly likely saved it on more than one occasion always reminding me that as bad as I thought things were in my life right now, they could always be worse like something I just saw on one of my soaps.
      
I was a huge AMC and OLTL fan and helped to bring them back temporarily on their short lived run on the internet.  I miss them terribly.  I miss Pine Valley, Llanview, Erica and Vickie, the matriarchs of AMC & OLTL.  I am watching Hot in Cleveland right now and they were just talking about Susan Lucci.  Sigh!!!

When I write, I wear a lot of hats.  I have been writing musical entertainment pieces for years.  I have also been a booking agent, PR/Publicity and Promotions agent for year representing performing singer/songwriters.  The music artists that I interview one on one often tell me things that should never be published and when they do, I tell them that I won’t publish that because it could tarnish them.  I don’t believe in sensationalism for page reads as so many do and my interviewees have been thankful for that.  I am a trusted journalist.

I don’t embellish and I don’t make up things and my promise to you is that you will only read the truth from me, as I know it and researched to the best of my ability.  My Entertainment website for my business of 14 years for my PR/Publicity firm is www.InsideTheSong.com.  You can check out some of my clients there.

I will give you my theories or what I predict might happen but I will always state that they are theories or predictions and not make it seem like I know this to be factual.  

After reading some of the things the last few months that I have read, I wanted to make it clear that you will not get that crap from me. My pieces might not be very exciting as the truth often is not, although the truth sometime is actually stranger than fiction and that might happen from time to time.   

I don’t mean for this to drag on but I really felt the need to let you know how I feel and that I am a truthful journalist.   I am very happy to share my thoughts, feelings and recaps with you and I look forward to building a long happy relationship with you.

When AMC & OLTL were canceled, I wrote this song with my husband a tribute to all the canceled soaps that we all love and miss. I would like to share it with you here.
