B&B: Ridge makes his move - CRC Designs

This blog post is about Wednesday’s episode.  So right after Caroline speaks to Rick who is answering the phone via video so that Caroline can see he is in bed with Maya, Ridge decides to make his move. 
 Let me tell you a little bit about Thornsten Kaye.
I have always been a fan of Thorsten Kaye since his days as Patrick on One Life to Live and then as Zach Slater on All My Children.  Thorsten has always had younger leading ladies and as he gets older, his leading ladies seem to get younger.  I just don’t see the ladies minding as he is a very attractive and sexy man. 

In real life, Thorsten lives with and has children with Susan Haskell, an actress he met while working on One Life to Live.  To the best of my knowledge, they never married but they do have children together.  Susan stays home and takes care of their kids. 

Getting back to B&B’s CURRENT STORY-LINE!  I think that Caroline should change her relationship status to single and post a few selfies of her and her new man on social media!  Just kidding, sort of!!  J   I don’t really think acting as immature as Rick would help things but it sure would be fun to watch Rick’s reaction.  

I do think that Ridge and Caroline should call a press conference and announce that they are opening up their own clothing line called, “Caroline Ridge Creations – CRC and move on. I don’t see how either one can continue to work at FC looking at Rick and Maya daily. I know I couldn’t. 

What do you think of the idea of Ridge and Caroline starting their own clothing design firm?  They certainly have the name and the expertise to pull it off and I have to wonder why neither has spoken of it up to this point? Loyalty to Eric should not be a consideration as he has not been loyal to either of them walking away and letting that tyrant of a son run things.

B&B: Maya and that Matriarch talk again

It is no accident that the producers/director shot this scene with us having to look at that awful portrait.  How delusional is this chick that she thinks she is ever going to be the matriarch of this family? In order to become the matriarch, decades would have to go by and she would have had to be the female head of the family for decades to command respect.

Does she think sleeping with the bosses son if truth really be told at that is Eric’s company, not Ricks is going to get her matriarch status when she is the OTHER WOMAN?  It just doesn’t work that way. Also, why has Rick conveniently forgot how Maya cheated on him with Carter when they had that little sitcom on TV?  Why have the writers, Maya, Rick and the rest of the cast forgotten about that every time Rick says he can trust Maya that she would never cheat on him.  She already did dude and that is when he want back to Caroline and married her shortly thereafter. 

Even Allie is aware of what Rick is doing and her ghost mother didn’t even have to tell her, she figured it out on her own.  Should we start taking bets about how long this whole Maya and Rick ruling the roost storyline will go on before their house of cards topples over?

B&B: Rick is enjoying torturing his wife

You can take one look at this picture and you can tell that Rick is totally enjoying torturing his wife.  In this photo Caroline was getting over the shock of seeing that awful picture of Maya on the wall over the mantel. You know, in place of the portrait of Stephanie.

Ivy has Rick all figured out.  If he was truly done with his wife, he would just move on and not everything he can to rub things in her face and torture her. On Friday, Ivy told Rick her suspicions that she thinks he still loves and wants his wife and that he is acting out because of pain. Do you agree with Ivy?  Do you think Rick still loves Caroline? 

Should Caroline continue going to work or should she resign and her and Ridge start their own clothing line?

B&B: The Monstrosity above the Mantel?

Could they have found a worse picture of Maya?  Look, I am no fan of what the character is doing on the soap but that picture is BUTT UGLY.  On top of that, it is absolutely ridiculous for it to be up there when Rick does not own the house and in fact is just a tenant for a year.

Does Eric know what he is doing?  That is has taken over his father’s bedroom?  I don’t know about anybody else but I can’t think of one parent that would be okay with their kids taking over their bedrooms.  It is ludicrous to say the least and it really is very telling that there is something very wrong with Rick and perhaps somebody should seek him some professional help?

Where is his mother when her son needs him and when her daughter needed her when she lost her baby? Oh yeah, she was off in Italy.  I am watching B&B for the laughs as I seriously laughed today at how silly it all is.  

I can’t wait for Maya’s beautiful sister to arrive and rock her little make believe world.  Caroline needs to file for a legal separation and start seeing Ridge.  That would be fun to watch.  What do you think about that?

B&B – Is Eric losing his edge?

There are so many things wrong with the last couple days of Bold & the Beautiful that I am not sure where to start so I am going to start with the Patriarch of the family Eric Forrester. 

Why would he let his son get away with conning him into believing that he was back together with his wife?  While it was wrong that he told Rick had HAD to get back with his wife in order to be CEO, two wrongs do not make a right.  Rick should have told his father that his position shouldn’t depend on his marital status if he was doing a good job.   

On top of that, his father should have demanded there be a morals clause in the contact as image in very important in that business and his son should not be shacking up with a mistress who is a model in the company.  It is very unprofessional.   

Now let’s talk about why Eric didn’t go home after Rick made his big announcement so we could see him order Rick and Maya out of his bedroom?  Are we supposed to believe that he just immediately headed to wherever to teach? 

Where was Eric that Rick and Maya were allowed to order everyone out of the house for their first night in the mansion? Is nobody else seeing anything else wrong with this picture?  The anger his father exhibited in this photo and then to just not go home just doesn’t make sense.  He can try and trust his son but he also needs to be around to make sure things don’t go haywire.
