A summer rain I'll never forget

A summer rain I’ll never forget nor will I forget the taste of his kiss or the feel of his hands as he pulled me to him in a way no other man ever had.   

I had seen him working on my friend’s parent’s ranch that summer.  It was the summer I turned 18 and it would the summer that would change my life forever for many reasons. 

I would watch him from the kitchen window as he tended to the horses and did whatever it was that ranch hands did.  His skin was kissed by the sun and always glittered and shined from sweat.  He smelled like musky sunshine and his jeans and boots fit like he was born in them. 

I went for a walk that day.  I should have stayed in.  We were warned by the weather service that things could get bad but being a know it all I decided to throw caution to the wind and wandered out anyway. 

I was a good mile, maybe even mile and a half from the ranch when the wind started to blow.  The rain came fast and hard and it was blinding.  I tried to look for shelter but saw none. 

All of a sudden and out of nowhere, there he was on top of his American Saddlebred. He put his hand down and moved the wet hair from across the front of my face.  I looked up at him and he put out his hand motioning for me to grab it and I did.  With that he pulled me up as if I weighed nothing at all and there I was on top of the horse with this man I had only daydreamed about.

He pulled on the reigns and the horse took off with us on him.  I sat behind him and held onto to him for dear life burying my chin and face into his back. He said he knew of a barn down yonder and we would be safe there until the storm passed.

The Bold and the Beautiful - OMG MAYA!!!

This blog post is about Friday’s episode.  I really couldn’t believe what I was seeing and hearing when Maya interrupted a business meeting that Rick was having with Ridge.

Who died and left her boss is what I would like to know?  How can sleeping with the temporary boss and being his mistress give her the right to talk to someone who is supposed to be one of the top notch designers in the country like that?

Does she not realize that if Ridge and Caroline leave, FC could crash and burn? 

Does she not realize the controversy this could start if the word leaked out that Rick had taken up with the so called top model while still married to Caroline?  Other people would not view a couple of kisses between designers as the ultimate betrayal like Rick does but they would deem his having a love nest loft and then moving his mistress into his father’s mansion and bed unsavory.  There really does need to be a behavioral clause in their contracts in that company and I find it hard to believe that there is not one. 
I am hoping that Ridge marches across the hallway, grabs Caroline by the hand and marches right back into Ridges office and quits.  He needs to call Eric and tell Eric that he and Caroline are walking and why.  In fact, Maya basically fired him although she doesn’t have the right, rank or ability to do so, she obviously thinks she does. 
It was a pretty ugly scene and I am still not sure why Ridge didn’t tell her off.  Maybe he feels she is not worth his breath?  

Why do you think Ridge didn’t tell her to mind her own business and learn her place?  She has a say so in Rick’s bed and that is all!!

The Bold and the Beautiful - Ridge and Caroline on the couch

This blog post is about Thursday’s episode. I thought the scene when Caroline finally gave into her feelings and allowed herself to feel for Ridge was fun.  There scene on the couch was absolutely adorable.    

Who cares what Rick and Maya are doing other than Rick is a sicko and I think he may use that gun on Ridge, especially when he sees Caroline and Ridge together. 
I hope Caroline and Ridge have a chance to be intimate first before Rick puts a bullet in him and I hope Caroline gets pregnant from it.    
I am just not feeling the love between Rick and Maya.  I do think Maya may have some real feelings but Rick is using her.  Today when she said to him, I will take a glass to learn about wines is proof she does not fit in his world.  Living in different worlds and growing up in different classes can and does create problems, far more problems than their interracial relationship will cause.  They are a couple starting out with 2 and 1/2 strikes against them.  Terrible odds. 

Ridge and Caroline are from the same world and have the same interests.  They are far more likely to make it than Rick and Maya.  Let the cookies crumble and let’s get on with it.  Can’t wait till next week when Maya’s little sister arrives and Ridge and Caroline make their relationship public.

B&B: Ridge makes his move - CRC Designs

This blog post is about Wednesday’s episode.  So right after Caroline speaks to Rick who is answering the phone via video so that Caroline can see he is in bed with Maya, Ridge decides to make his move. 
 Let me tell you a little bit about Thornsten Kaye.
I have always been a fan of Thorsten Kaye since his days as Patrick on One Life to Live and then as Zach Slater on All My Children.  Thorsten has always had younger leading ladies and as he gets older, his leading ladies seem to get younger.  I just don’t see the ladies minding as he is a very attractive and sexy man. 

In real life, Thorsten lives with and has children with Susan Haskell, an actress he met while working on One Life to Live.  To the best of my knowledge, they never married but they do have children together.  Susan stays home and takes care of their kids. 

Getting back to B&B’s CURRENT STORY-LINE!  I think that Caroline should change her relationship status to single and post a few selfies of her and her new man on social media!  Just kidding, sort of!!  J   I don’t really think acting as immature as Rick would help things but it sure would be fun to watch Rick’s reaction.  

I do think that Ridge and Caroline should call a press conference and announce that they are opening up their own clothing line called, “Caroline Ridge Creations – CRC and move on. I don’t see how either one can continue to work at FC looking at Rick and Maya daily. I know I couldn’t. 

What do you think of the idea of Ridge and Caroline starting their own clothing design firm?  They certainly have the name and the expertise to pull it off and I have to wonder why neither has spoken of it up to this point? Loyalty to Eric should not be a consideration as he has not been loyal to either of them walking away and letting that tyrant of a son run things.

B&B: Do you love me Rick?

So everybody is telling Maya that Rick moved her in, put up the awful portrait and is having sex with her in his father’s bed all because he still loves Caroline.         

Carter asked Maya if Rick has told her he loves her?  Maya actually told Carter, “not yet.”  Geez, I don’t think I’d admit that if it were happening to me. So Maya heads home with a plan to get Rick to say I love you.  She tells him several time in several different ways and they end the episode with Rick basically looking at her with one of those looks, “chick you off your rocker?” 

Is it possible that Rick really is using Maya?  Are there no feelings there?  When Ridge said to him, tell me one more time that you are done with your wife and I will believe you, did Rick NOT understand what Ridge was saying to him.  He let him know right then and there that he was going to go after his woman. I am really looking forward Ridge and Caroline getting together.  I would like to see Caroline shoot some selfies with her and Ridge.    

Who is ready to see some Ridge and Caroline action just to see Ricks reaction?

B&B: Maya and that Matriarch talk again

It is no accident that the producers/director shot this scene with us having to look at that awful portrait.  How delusional is this chick that she thinks she is ever going to be the matriarch of this family? In order to become the matriarch, decades would have to go by and she would have had to be the female head of the family for decades to command respect.

Does she think sleeping with the bosses son if truth really be told at that is Eric’s company, not Ricks is going to get her matriarch status when she is the OTHER WOMAN?  It just doesn’t work that way. Also, why has Rick conveniently forgot how Maya cheated on him with Carter when they had that little sitcom on TV?  Why have the writers, Maya, Rick and the rest of the cast forgotten about that every time Rick says he can trust Maya that she would never cheat on him.  She already did dude and that is when he want back to Caroline and married her shortly thereafter. 

Even Allie is aware of what Rick is doing and her ghost mother didn’t even have to tell her, she figured it out on her own.  Should we start taking bets about how long this whole Maya and Rick ruling the roost storyline will go on before their house of cards topples over?
