B&B: What is it with that damn TUB?

I have been catching up on all my soaps because of the holidays so I am a bit behind.  Just finished watching the New Year’s Eve episode and man was it boring. 
Is it just me or are these tub scenes annoying?  Why are they always in the damn TUB?  Does she not have a bed or bedroom?  Have they not given her one on the set?
Are they both so dirty that they have to take daily baths together?  A soak in a bath tub once in a while is nice but seriously, sitting in a tub day after day is really just sitting in your own dirt.  How is she not getting yeast infections for real since they are really sitting in water during those scenes?

So Rick hid from his wife by pretending to be asleep rather than have sex with her after just having sex with Maya in dirty tub water.  Caroline, you should thank him; you probably would have caught something.  A few observations, Othello is in love with Maya but she seems to be oblivious to that fact. 

Caroline thinks her husband who always liked sex before has suddenly turned into a monk?
Has anybody else been yelling at their TV, “DON’T SIGN THE PAPERS ERIC?” 

I am hoping that Ridge talked Carter into holding off on filing that paperwork.  Keep your fingers crossed that this comes to pass and that they both get thrown out on their ears. 

How pissed do you think Eric is going to be when he finds out what he son planned to do?
